Let’s repay to Taras by the whole Ukrainian world

The 8th international congress of ukrainianists “Taras Shevchenko and the world Ukrainian studies: historical interpretations and contemporary receptions” dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the poet gathered in the Column hall of the Kyiv City State Administration five hundred experts of Ukraine and Taras Schevchenko’ experts from 22 countries. The largest delegation consisted of 47 people and came from Russia. The second largest delegation, according to the number of participants, was from Poland: it was represented by 13 delegates.
