Gulyaypole’ father in the Elysian Fields

For the 125th anniversary of the birth of Nestor MAKHNO

Gulyaypole’ father saw Elysian Fields in April 1925. In fact these were not fields that tireless Nestor Ivanovych used to rush from horizon to horizon, but the grand Parisian main road. Many times he walked over it as if he was measuring and re-measuring the avenue.  It was 1915 meters, but he had to do a lot more steps, even wide ones. But the escapee took it easy and stood near the Arc de Triomphe for a long time. A rough spring wind ruffled rebellious cropped hair.
