The sociocultural globalization of higher education: tendencies and consequences

At the beginning of XXI of century the socio-cultural development defined the strengthening of difficult and contradictory tendency which got the name globalization. In the conditions of unprecedented complication of relations in a globalized informative society people often equate such concepts as internationalization and globalization in relation to a higher school. In the context of problem which is examined in the article the internationalization of education means a free academic exchange of teachers and students between institutes of higher education of different countries, and also the creation of the single special curricula, and globalization - is unification of the educational planning which is carried out due to demand of certain type of specialists on the global markets of labour.
