How people of Lviv save their lions

Lviv citizens took up the matter of saving lions - those which are the symbol of the city and shining on the emblem of the city. Indeed every eighth building in the city necessarily has a lion on its front.
Over the years buildings were breaking down, people get them into working order, repair facades, but not always they can restore a lion, they simply remove it or redo. Then there appears another lion that is different from the original. To get going a process of saving lions the Fund of restoration of the damaged and destroyed lions was created in the city and the project of their recovery was drafted.
