Ukrainian national idea in the lingua and communicative context of consolidation of poly ethnic society

In the article the Ukrainian national idea is considered in the lingua and communicative context of consolidation of Ukrainian poly ethnic society as a factor of preserving and development of Ukrainian language, culture of the Ukrainian people, and creation of the Ukrainian state. The author thinks that the Ukrainian national idea at the modern stage is not an integrator and consolidator of all Ukrainian poly ethnic society. The major constituents of the national idea are state sovereignty, national unity, mutual understanding and intercultural communication and dialog.
