Leadership was won by a scientist

On August, 30, 2006 a five-month marathon of elections of chairman of Dnipropetrovsk regional council was concluded. These elections have literally become the most long-drawn in Ukraine, and they possibly have broken a record. But the best of all there would never be such records.
