The Black Sea is a pearl in the ocean necklace of the Earth

By tradition of the last 16 years on the 31st of October the world has celebrated the International Day of the Black Sea. In 1996 six Black Sea countries - Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine - signed the Strategic Action Plan for the Rehabilitation and Protection of the Black Sea. This plan was developed after a thorough study of the marine environment, the results of which showed that its viability significantly got worst compared to the previous three decades. Each year in honor of the International Day of the Black Sea in Sevastopol dolphinarium, which is in Artbuhta, there is a press conference with participation of scientists, environmentalists, representatives of public organizations.
