Sculptures of Johan Pinzel are prepared to be exhibited in Louvre

In the Lviv National Gallery of Arts the group of restorers renovates the sculptures of “Ukrainian Michelangelo”– Johan Pinzel. His works are getting prepared for exhibiting in the halls of Louvre. In fact it is the most enigmatic figure among the European artists of the XVIII century. It is still a mystery wherefrom the master came to Buchach town, what he was and where he studied, why he died at the age of 35, having left the inestimable treasure of artistic sculptures in the temples of Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

Only one month passed since Larysa Razinkova-Woznicki after the death of her father Borys Woznicki has become the director of the Lviv National Gallery of Arts at the will of Lviv intellectuals. She is a restorer by occupation. Larysa is an associate professor, candidate of study of art, deserved worker of culture. She has been working in the position of a manager of restoration division for forty years in the gallery. She was not interested in any other career, she had the work she was fond of, and was surprised by the suggestion to manage the gallery.
