Native home of Hryvnia

Implementation of hryvnia in circulation was scheduled for the first half of 1992 - several months after the adoption of the Resolution of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “On the national currency in Ukraine”. Production of banknotes was ordered to the foreign companies and almost simultaneously began creating its own production - Banknote Mint.
Now it is a home of hryvnia.
Several companies, created by the National Bank of Ukraine, which produce banknotes, can be called a real treasure of modern Ukraine. Each of its divisionals - Factory banknote paper, Banknote Printing and Mint - will have an anniversary or a milestone tag in 2012.
