Members of the parliamentary hearings on the topic “Creation in Ukraine of favorable conditions for development of software industry” are convinced that the information technology (IT) will be a leader among the most promising areas of the national economy. Now our country is among the five world leaders in terms of software exports, being interior to India, China and Russia and ahead of Brazil. Experts discussed the prospects of IT sector, training, and mechanisms of state support for the software industry. In the opinion of the members of the hearings, adoption of bills “On economic experiment in creating favorable conditions for the development of software products industry in Ukraine” (registration number 8267) and “On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine on economic experiment on creating favorable conditions for the development software products industry in Ukraine” (registration number 8268) will help our domestic programmers to compete with global players worthy.
