Budget -2012 predicts the growth

– Ukraine keeps the moderate level of GDP growth, while the rates of growth of economies of close European neighbours grow down, – the Minister of Finance Fedir Yaroshenko marked, coming forward on the 22nd of December in the parliament when the project of budget-2012 was considered in the second reading.

He reported that, according to the consolidated budget, the revenues are UAH 424.25 milliards, which is on 4.2 milliards less than it was foreseen by the project given to the consideration in the first reading. Reduction took place due to the change of the planned indexes in relation to the tax on individual person’s income, excise duties and VAT. At the same time the government continues the policy of reducing of tax pressure on the economy. Part of tax revenues to GDP will reduce on 0.5 percentage point to 19.1 percent, – Fedir Yaroshenko underlined.

Upon an initiative of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Lytvyn the budget for the next year has been adopted with the additions and clarifications, which relate to the limitation of privileges for the national deputies, taken into account. Final provisions of the Law “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2012” have been amended accordingly.
