Right to Information: Public and not Very Public

In early 2011, the Law “On Protection of Personal Data” entered into force. In May it was joined by the Law “On Access to Public Information” and a new redaction of law “On Information”. Ukraine is no exception: similar rules are applied in all European countries. In some countries even positions of independent commissioners for the protection of personal data are established. So will conditions for exercising the right to information in Ukraine improve?
