Unique Agreement: Joining the FTA Means the EU Membership?

The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on the European Integration invited the representatives of the Ukrainian and EU negotiators to the hearings on the status of negotiations process on the establishment of a comprehensive free trade area (FTA) between Ukraine and the EU, and the prospects of its completion. But it was revealed that according to the rules the representatives do not inform even the European Parliament about the details of the negotiations. They inform only the authorities of the European Union Member States. So the problem was discussed in a close circle of national experts.
