Concession. Conflict. Violence

The events that took place in November-December of 2004 have changed the political scenery of our state and literally rocked the whole world. They were at once named “the orange revolution”; the mass rallies in Kyiv and other cities, small towns and villages of Ukraine were compared with “the velvet revolution» in Czechoslovakia, with “the rose revolution» in Georgia and with the collapse of the regime of «eternal» Miloshevych in Yugoslavia.
