Unique experience of organization of droving and effective land-tenure

Entering to the World Trade Organization, Ukraine contracted certain liabilities, in particular, in the agrarian sphere. It was promised that from January, 1, 2010 any sale of meat of the animals slaughtered at farms will be forbidden. However, having become the member of the WTO, our state postponed the fulfillment of this promise till 2015. Only Zhashkiv and Cherkasy region try to meet the requirements of the WTO: here the only one in Ukraine retail-wholesale market of livestock “Charodiy” operates.
In order to liquidate the slaughter of domestic livestock and poultry at the farms, network of wholesale markets of livestock and slaughter workshops have to be created all around the country. Law creator put such tasks before the executive power already in 1997 when Act “On Safety and Quality of Food Stuff” was adopted.
