Constitutional And Legal Background of the System of Registration of Lobbyists in Canada

Legislative regulation of government relations in Canada is the example of successful and efficient shifting of American standards of government relations on the national legal background. In the report of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe “Government Relations in the Democratic Society” from June, 5, 2009 Canadian model of regulation of government relations was marked to be the most efficient and illustrative model in the world at the present time. Consequently, Canadian experience of legitimization of government relations would fit the states-members of the European Council during legislative regulation of this phenomenon in their national legal systems.
