Public Inspection as a Mechanism of Notice of Violations in the Field of Health Protection

According to the data of the polling conducted in Ukraine, people consider physicians to be one of the most corrupted groups. Specialists, in their turn, mark the inefficient resources exploitation in this industry, unsatisfactory state of infrastructure and equipment, doubtful quality of medications, unreliable infectious control – factors which substantially raise the risks of the undesirable phenomena in domestic medicine.

introduction of public inspection in the system of health protection of Ukraine will promote not only counteraction of official misconduct in this sphere, but also the establishment of both civil society and democratic government based on the ideas of social capital and civil participation.
