Westminster in the Verkhovna Rada

On June, 18–19 seminar “Activity of Modern European Parliament: Practice, Experience, Problems” took place in the Verkhovna Rada. Organizers of the event were the Committee on the Questions of Regulation, of Deputy Ethics and Provision of Activity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Committee on Questions of Budget, the Committee on Questions of Freedom of Speech and Information, the Committee on Questions of the European Integration, and also the Westminster Fund for democracy (Great Britain).

Folk deputies of Ukraine, members of the delegation of the British Parliament and representatives from parliamentary service of the Chamber of Societies, Governing Body of the Verkhovna Rada, secretariats of committees, structural subdivisions of the Body, secretariats of deputy factions in the Verkhovna Rada, coalition and parliamentary opposition, the Institute of Legislation of the Verkhovna Rada, leaders of the Management of the Cabinet of Ministers from the Provision of Cooperation with the Verkhovna Rada, the Main Administration of Government Service, representatives from the Ministry of Justice and the Account chamber in the Verkhovna Rada participated in the work of the seminar.
