Sun, Straw and Husk as the Alternative of Gas

Approximately one and half million tons of straw remain after harvest time on the fields of Vinnytsya. If it was used for production of heat, it could be enough for three (!) heating seasons. Besides, such heat could cost five times cheaper than natural gas. So far 7 boiler houses operate from straw, 13 – from wastes of wood, 6 – from electricity, one – from sunflower husk. 13 installations of Suchin for production of heat are also used in the region. How much does the introduction of such technologies cost? If they are really effective, why have only some switched to them?
