Glorious Past Unites with the Great Future

On January, 10, 1939 the Kirivigrad region was formed.
Seventy years is the sufficient period of time to place main landmarks on the way of development of the region, to analyze the already used and unused possibilities, to assess the present social and economic situation through the prism of impartial and visual factors.
We had a conversation with Mykola SUCHOMLYN, the chairman of regional board, the candidate of economic sciences, the academician of the Engineering Academy of Ukraine— the man who is deeply informed in the life of self-governing society of the region and who has been working in the organs of local power for the quarter of his life.
