PATRIARCH OF UKRAINIAN SCIENCE BORYS PTON IS 90!

On November, 27 the world-known scientist, the president of the National academy of sciences of Ukraine Borys Yevgenovych Paton was 90 years old. It is hard to over-estimate the merits of Borys Paton in the national science: he is the author of more than thousand scientific works and the creator of more than 400 inventions. Exactly he began to explore the application of welding works in space. Borys Paton is the main initiator of unique technology of welding of living tissue, which today is being used successfully in many countries of the world; he is the worth continuer of the business of his father in the industry of the electric welding and creation of rocket-space complexes.
